Victor Ularju Pius

Victor is an experienced researcher and facilitator with interest in peacebuilding, DDR and political conflict.

Victor works as Assistant Program Officer with Center for Democracy and Development West Africa (CDD) in the north east region of Nigeria. CDD is a think tank organization committed to providing independent, non-partisan approaches to capacity building, policy development, advocacy, and research on democratic governance, human rights and security.

Through his work in CDD, Victor has facilitated a series of capacity building workshops on transitional justice and DDR in the north east region, Nigeria. Additionally, Victor is actively involved in academic conferences, seminars and has contributed to several book chapters and has published widely in both local and international journals.

Victor graduated from the University of Maiduguri with a bachelor of science in Political Science and a master of science in International Relations, specializing in international security and transnationalization of terrorism across the Sahel.
