Kidou Mwamnyenyelwa has ten years of experience with Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR).
His experience concentrates on programs, projects, policies, and portfolios related to peacebuilding, conflict transformation, violent extremism, electoral violence, climate security, energy finance, and the involvement of marginalized communities through art, sports, and games across the Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Governance and Masters of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies and Master of Art in Gender Studies and Master of Science in Governance, Peace and Security and a PhD candidate in Climate Change and Sustainability. Kidou has moreover undertaken specialized trainings in Environmental Quality and Monitoring and Analysis, Environmental Management, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Technology Applications, Energy Economics, Energy Systems and Environmental Impact, Legal Studies, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Strategic Management, and Mental Health.
